President Barack Obama outlined a major new initiative to battle climate change in a speech that received kudos from environmentalists. The voices, however, were just as loud on those opposing any efforts to tackle global warming.
Here are five critical articles (and a video) that found Obama’s plan wanting –to put it mildly. The first three are as predictable as these type of critics all deny the elephant in the room and contend our climate is getting better, not worse, so ‘hey let’s keep spewing greenhouse gases like it’s 1999.’ The video is pretty much in the same vein. I think they are all advocating building our house out of straw (Check out “What Kind of Climate Change Piggy Are You” here).
The final two articles don’t deny climate change science but do raise some valid points on whether the Obama climate plan will work in the long run.
